Bib2Web WILL BE BACK IN SERVICE SOON

We are working on a new (more secure) version.

Welcome to the Bib2Web Server

The Bib2Web Server allows scientists, students, or anyone else to easily and automatically produce Web sites or CD-ROMs with documents in PS.GZ and DjVu, with full-text search capability. Something that looks like this.

The process is very simple:

  1. create a bibTeX file that lists the documents
  2. gather the documents in a publicly accessible URL. Documents can be in the following formats: ps, ps.gz, tiff, pdf, and djvu.
  3. upload the bibTeX file through our web interface, and our server will convert all your documents to DjVu and PostScript, extract the text, create a built-in search engine, generate a nice HTML index of all the documents, gather everything in a TAR or ZIP file, and tell you when it's done.
  4. download the TAR or ZIP file, expand it on your Web server, and voilà: a nice looking Web page with ultra-compact documents and full-text search!

No knowledge of HTML is required (just send us the bibTeX).
No messy server-side programming is required for the full-text search (it's all in JavaScript).
No digital versions of your papers are required (scan a hardcopy into a TIFF file, and we'll do the rest).
